X sees Brown re-teaming with Diplo (Usher, Britney Spears), who worked on 2011 s F.A.M.E, which hit No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and earned Brown a Grammy Award for Best R&B Album. The production team includes Grammy-winning producer Timbaland (David Guetta, Katy Perry, Black Eyed Peas) and Danja (Mary J. Blige, P!nk), both of whom worked on 2012's chart-topping album Fortune, which debuted at No. 1 on both the Billboard Top 200 Albums Chart and Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart and earned Brown a Grammy nomination for Best Urban Contemporary Album.
